di: Antonio "Difio" Di FinizioNel corso del Comic-Con 2010, Electronic Arts ha annunciato dei piani che porteranno il marchio Dead Space oltre il mondo videoludico.
E’ stato dichiarato, infatti, che è attualmente in produzione un filmato d’animazione e una graphic novel ispirata al secondo episodio della serie.
Il cortometraggio si chiamerà Dead Space Aftermath, mentre il fumetto Dead Space Salvage. Il primo narrerà cosa è accaduto nella prima missione sul pianeta Aegis VII, mentre il secondo racconterà la storia di un gruppo di minatori che giungono nei pressi dell’ormai desolata USG Ishimura.
Dead Space Aftermath sarà rilasciato a gennaio 2011, mentre Dead Space Salvage a dicembre di quest’anno.
Dead Space 2, invece, arriverà nei negozi il 25 gennaio 2011 su Xbox 360, PS3 e PC.
The animated feature, Dead Space Aftermath centers on the Aegis VII disaster and explores how the Government sends an unwitting crew of people to get exposed to Marker shards. The Government is secretly trying to produce a viable ?Marker blueprint? carrier, no matter the costs.
The graphic novel Dead Space Salvage tells the story of the Magpies, who discover an abandoned mining ship, the USG Ishimura. Their once-fortunate luck turns into a catastrophe as they realize they?re in the middle of a living nightmare. Not only is the Government racing to claim the Ishimura, but the necromorphs are also reanimating across the ship. Dead Space Salvage will feature the unique visual style of fantasy and sci-fi artist, Christopher Shy.
