Il sito estero Logic-Sunrise è venuto a conoscenza di alcune delle caratteristiche che potrebbero interessare il prossimo prodotto della grande N! Caratteristiche che, se implementate potrebbero davvero dare, del filo da trocere alle concorrenti Sony e Microsoft. Il portale estero ha affermato che la nuova console avrà un lettore Blu-Ray (principalmente per fermare la pirateria) e il supporto al formato 1080p per i giochi e i film in alta definizione!
