Ubisoft salta l’evento Forward per quest’anno

Mentre l’estate videoludica si scalda con gli showcase ormai annunciati – dal Summer Game Fest all’Xbox Games Showcase – molti si sono chiesti: che fine ha fatto Ubisoft? Storicamente la compagnia francese ha sempre organizzato il proprio evento Ubisoft Forward nel mese di giugno, ma quest’anno le cose saranno diverse.

Come confermato dal giornalista Stephen Totilo di Game File, un rappresentante di Ubisoft ha dichiarato che non ci sarà alcun Ubisoft Forward a giugno 2025. In compenso, l’azienda parteciperà a due importanti eventi: IGN Live e il PC Gaming Show.

“Siamo sempre desiderosi di entrare in contatto con i nostri giocatori e mostrare i nostri giochi…” ha spiegato il portavoce, aggiungendo che “continueremo a esplorare nuove opportunità per condividere aggiornamenti e non vediamo l’ora di fornire maggiori informazioni in futuro.”

I don't think Ubisoft has a big line-up for the rest of the year, plus it's in cost-cutting mode, so it's not shocking that they're skippingIt's still curious to me, though, that the AC Shadows roadmap only specifies releases through June with a vaguer later-this-year for the game's 1st expansion
