di: Antonio "Difio" Di FinizioIn un’intervista con il portale GameIndustry.biz, Alan Corre di Ubisoft, ha fatto alcune interessanti dichiarazioni circa i prossimi giochi che verranno sviluppati dalla software house francese per questa generazione.
Corre, sostanza, ha detto che Ubisoft non ha intenzione di creare nessun nuovo IP fino alla prossima generazione, definendo RUSE come l’ultimo IP che sarà rilasciato nel mercato.
Il perché di questa decisione è molto semplice e Corre l’ha spiegato. Investire in un nuovo IP costa tanto oggi, inoltre bisogna aggiungerci i costi di marketing per farlo conoscere al mondo, sperando che poi si riesca a trovare il giusto target di giocatori e infine il costo stesso dello sviluppo del gioco.
Ha concluso dicendo che arrivati ormai a questo momento del ciclo vitale delle console, non vogliono quindi introdurre nuovi brand, ma concentrarsi su quelli che già sono presenti nel mercato.
