Durante il Playstation Meeting, Sony ha annunciato che tutte le PS4 (PS4, PS4 Slim e PS4 Pro) supporteranno la tecnologia HDR tramite un aggiornamento firmware. HDR in sé richiede semplicemente un dislay compatibile per poter essere sfruttato visto che non ci sarà bisogno di una grande potenza hardware.
