Tra le cose che ha detto, ha suscitato scalpore una sua frase secondo la quale verrà annunciato Twisted Metal 2 come titolo Sony che non utilizza il Move. Pachter ha continuato dicendo che Eat, Sleep and Play, la software house di David Jaffe e responsabile dello sviluppo del gioco, non avrebbe voluto che la notizia si diffondesse prima dell’E3, come per non rovinare un effetto sorpresa.

Nel frattempo David Jaffe ha già provveduto a smentire la notizia attraverso un messaggio su Twitter, dicendo semplicemente che Pachter stava scherzando, ribadendo che non sarà presente all’E3 e che starà seduto davanti al suo Mac quando si svolgerà la fiera.
