di: Antonio "Difio" Di FinizioGià da tempo ormai circolavano molti rumor sull’arrivo di NBA Jam anche su Xbox 360 e PS3, oltre ovviamente alla versione Wii, ma mai Electronic Arts si era pronunciata su queste indiscrezioni.
In un’intervista con l’emittente ESPN, però, Jordan Edelstein di Electronic Arts ha finalmente confermato che NBA Jam arriverà anche sulle console casalinghe “HD” seppur in forma diversa da quella della versione Wii.
Ogni copia di NBA Elite 11, infatti, conterrà al suo interno anche un codice per scaricare una versione ridotta di NBA Jam che vanterà anche di una modalità online. Non ci sarà altro modo per fruire il gioco su Xbox 360 e PS3 (come per esempio acquistarlo da Xbox Live o PlayStation Store) e, a detta di EA, è stato fatto questo per spingere i giocatori a provare il gioco completo disponibile esclusivamente su Wii.
“But for the PS3 and 360, we want people to try ?Elite?. We feel like ?NBA Elite 11′ is a great product and we want people to give it a chance and see all the changes we?re making. So as a way to say thanks to these people, we are going to let them experience ?Jam?. It?s not the full product, but it?s a good portion of it.
We?re not selling ?Jam? on PSN or Xbox Live. If you still want the full product, the full experience is on the Wii, but if you pick up ?Elite?, you?re still getting a good taste of it, especially with the inclusion of online play.”
