Microsoft & Turn 10 assumono per il prossimo Forza Motorsport

Forza Motorsport: nuovo gioco nelle previsioni di Microsoft e Turn 10

Sembra che Forza Motorsport 5 sia in sviluppo secondo un annuncio di lavoro di Microsoft per cercare personale per creare il prossimo gioco del franchise automobilistico. Si tratta di un ruolo per il comparto multiplayer.

La parte più interessante dell’annuncio riporta: “Siamo Turn 10 Studio e abbiamo bisogno di te per la prossima versione di Forza Motorsport.”

La domanda è: si parla di un Forza next-gen per Xbox 720 oppure sarà il canto del cigno di Xbox 360?

THE JOB
We are looking for a strong senior software engineer to own the testing of our multiplayer networking system. You’ll be working directly with your counterparts in dev, design, and PM to design and build a secure, reliable and scalable multiplayer system. You will also be responsible for efficiently leveraging contingent staff to accomplish your tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS:

– A true passion for gaming and games.
– Be able to prioritize and balance the decision of automation versus manual testing
You’ll also need:
– 5+ years of experience in testing/dev
– 2+ years using your coding skills as your primary approach to testing (C++ and C#)
– Experience with client-server and peer-to-peer networking topologies.
– Familiarity with different network traffic over the internet (packet sniffing, network quality emulation, monitoring, routers, UDP and TCP experience)
– Demonstrated proficiency in cross group and discipline collaboration
– Ability to accurately estimate the work required to meet your commitments, and then appropriately recruit and manage contingent staff to meet them.
Nice to have but not required:
– Experience with automating a large number of machines.
– Experience in game development
– A passion for all things automotive
