Mass Effect 2 è stato nominato Gioco dell’Anno al Canadian Videogame Awards, superando altri titoli come Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood, Dead Rising 2 ed altro.
Il gioco BioWare ha anche vinto 3 premi:

  • Best Game Design : miglior design/progetto di gioco
  • Best Writing : migliori testi/sceneggiatura
  • Console Game of the Year : gioco per console dell’anno

Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood ha vinto per il Miglior Audio e migliori Arti Visive (Best Audio e Best Visual Arts), ModNation Racers si è aggiundicato il premio per l’innovazione (Innovation Award), e DeatSpank ha portato a casa il titolo di miglior gioco scaricabile (Best Downloadable Game).
