Nelle ultime due settimane, infatti, le vendite nel Regno Unito si sono più che raddoppiate, bissando senza alcuna difficoltà le intenzioni della concorrente di casa Sony.
I modelli più venduti, stando agli ultimi dati, risultano l’Arcade e la nuova versione dotata di hard disk da 60 GB. Interpretando le cifre fornite da ChartTrack, Microsoft ha annunciato un incremento del 214 %. Il colosso di Redmond non può far altro che sorridere compiaciuto.
Il successo, però, ha un prezzo: la stessa Microsoft U.K., qualche tempo fa, aveva confermato un investimento di “decine di milioni” pur di promuovere e rafforzare la posizione nel vecchio continente.
