TASTE THE THRILLING NEW ACTION AND ADVENTURE WITH THE PLAYABLE DEMO OF ‘DRAGON BALL: ORIGINS 2’

Free Action-Packed Downloadable Demo Available Now for Nintendo DS via DSiWare and WiiWare –

CERGY-PONTOISE, FRANCE ? 18 June 2010 ? Dragon Ball fans can get a taste of Goku?s new handheld adventures with the news that NAMCO BANDAI Games Europe have released a free downloadable playable demo of Dragon Ball: Origins 2 for Nintendo DS. The demo is available from now until July 22nd via DSiWare for DSi and DSi XL and WiiWare for DS and DS Lite. Dragon Ball: Origins 2 is coming to EMEA and Pacific in summer 2010 exclusively for Nintendo DS?, with a host of new features and enough Dragon Ball thrills and spills to keep that stylus flying and those thumbs working overtime.

The demo contains a modified excerpt from the first level of the game set in the Red Ribbon Army Headquarters and featuring fun new training to help players get the most from the frantic gameplay. At the end of the demo, players will face a test of their new skills in a dramatic face-off with Major Metallitron. Only your training can save you now!

DSi and DSi XL owners can download the demo direct to their console via DSiWare while owners of DS and DS Lite consoles who have access to a Wii can download the demo via WiiWare and transfer the demo to their DS via Bluetooth® for an immediate taste of the witty anime action (the demo can only be saved on the DSi or DSi XL).

Dragon Ball: Origins 2 takes players through the Red Ribbon saga with impressive new graphics and some big gameplay changes to the controls, camera and playable characters, even letting fans team up for multiplayer action. Taking the series beyond the single player experience of the first title, Dragon Ball: Origins 2 lets up to two players with the game play together via ad-hoc play to defeat a series of increasingly formidable bosses across special stages.

With Dragon Ball-busting side-on boss battling and heart-stopping aerial fights shown on the top screen, the game comes even closer to reproducing the signature intense aerial assaults of the Dragon Ball anime. It?s time to bust out some serious Kamehamehas!

Developed by Game Republic, Dragon Ball: Origins 2 is scheduled for launch across EMEA and Pacific in summer 2010. For more information about NAMCO BANDAI Games and its entire line up, please visit: www.namcobandaigames.eu
