di: JustmeUn nuovo aggiornamento per Burnout Paradise è alle porte. Il prossimo Settembre gli utenti avranno modo di provare con il proprio pad tutte le possibilità offerte dalle motociclette che verranno introdotte, ma vi sono anche alcuni enormi, enormi cambiamenti in serbo per gli appassionati di gioco.
L’update (formalmente conosciuto con il nome in codice “Davis”) cambierà radicalmente il gameplay mediante vari ed innumerevoli fix, quali gli scenari notturni o nuove sfide Freeburn, ma ciò che più interessa a molti è sapere che il pack sarà scaricabile gratuitamente.
Ecco una lista (in inglese) delle nuove features:
* For the first time in Burnout, you?ll get to ride motorcycles! The FV1100 Street Bike and the stunning Japanese Firehawk racing bike will be available from the nearest junkyard in Paradise City on day one.
* A new day-and-night cycle will be added to the game so you can race the city streets at night! Criterion says they?ve wanted to have night in the game from the second they added the first prototype bike, and now they?ve delivered on that with this update. They say that the city takes on a life of it?s own when you get to see it at night once then rush hour traffic thins out.
* A new variation to the ?Burning Routes? challenges have been added. During the day if you beat the target times on specific routes you?ll complete ?Burnout Rides?, the big change being that these routes feature multiple checkpoints that will take you all over the city. At night you?ll have to complete a different set of routes for the ?Midnight Rides?.
* An all-new Dynamic Weather system has been added! So if you?re tired of seeing Paradise City always swathed in sunshine, then you?re going to love the new cloudy days! This is another Burnout first!
* Criterion have created 70 all-new challenges specifically for the motorcycles! 35 of them are timed, multi-part challenges, the kind introduced in last month?s free Cagney update.
