Recoil Games, studio di sviluppo finlandese, ha annunciato oggi una nuova esclusiva PSN, un platform chiamato Rochard.
Rochard è un platform a scorrimento laterale ricco di azione che gravita intorno al personaggio dell’astro-minatore John Rochard.
Costui ha l’abilità di manipolare la gravità per risolvere puzzle, sconfiggere nemici e affrontare boss.
Per fare questo, è equipaggiato con uno strumento chiamato G-Lifter. I giocatori possono utilizzarlo per sollevare (Lift) e spostare oggetti pesanti e, proseguendo, per fluttuare e per superare saltando distanze notevoli.
Ecco cosa ha detto Burt Kane dei Recoil sul loro gioco:

Abbiamo lavorato su Rochard per un bel pezzo ad ora e siamo molto eccitati di iniziare a mostrarvi questo titolo di avventura intelligente, divertente e unico per giocatori del PlayStation Network.

L’eroe, John Rochard, non è un marine o un super soldato, ma solo un duro, ordinario minatore con i baffi, che si ritrova in una situazione fuori dall’ordinario. La combinazione del suo stile ironico, dell’esplorazione di antichità spaziali e dell’abilità del giocatore di manipolare la gravità, farà emergere Rochard certamente dalla massa.

Il gioco è schedulato per la primavera del 2011.

Developed by Recoil Games founded by former Remedy Entertainment team members and published by Sony Online Entertainment LLC, Rochardis scheduled to be released this spring andfeatures the adventures of hero John Rochard as he manipulates gravity in inventive ways to solve puzzles, defeat enemies and bring down the most evil of bosses.
