Lo sviluppatore Frictional Games ha annunciato un nuovo aggiornamento per il suo titolo horror recentemente pubblicato Amnesia: The Bunker. L’aggiornamento, il cui rilascio è previsto per Halloween, includerà una serie di nuove funzionalità che renderanno il gioco più spaventoso e difficile.

Presentato dal responsabile creativo Fredrick Olsson, Amnesia: The Bunker avrà una nuova modalità Shellshocked, che riduce significativamente il numero di spazi in cui il giocatore può nascondersi. La modalità di difficoltà apporta anche altri cambiamenti, come l’assenza della pausa quando apri i suoi menu.

Anche la posizione dell’ufficio amministrativo sarà meno sicura in modalità Shellshocked, poiché le sue porte ora saranno di legno, rendendole fragili. La modalità inoltre randomizza la posizione degli oggetti e dei pericoli e offre ai giocatori la possibilità di iniziare una nuova partita senza la loro fidata pistola.
