Ubisoft ha censurato la versione per PlayStation 3 e Xbox 360 di South Park: The Stick of Truth, titolo classificato PEGI 18, in Europa, Africa e Medio Oriente. Mentre la versione per PC rimarrà incensurata.

In totale sono state rimossse 7 scene da circa 20 secondi l’una e sostituite con un’immagine di background e una descrizione testuale selezionata dai creatori di South Park Matt Stone e Trey Parke. Per Ubisoft si tratta di una scelta di merketing.

Secondo il documento queste sarebbe alcune delle scene censurate:

• A mini-game in which the doctor is performing an abortion on the player.
• A mini-game in which the player is performing an abortion on the character Randy.
• Five anal probing scenes involving someone actively being probed. The scenes play out as normal before and after the active probing sequences.
