di: al85exIl team Capcom ha annunciato poche ore fa che la rinascita del franchising Street Fighter IV ha avuto un ottimo successo in scala mondiale. Il noto picchiaduro a incontri che tutti ben conosciamo è arrivato a quota 2 milioni di unità spedite in tutto il mondo, e questo solo dopo pochi giorni dal rilascio. Capcom inoltre afferma che la prima settimana di vendita ha visto rispettivamente 86.075 copie per la versione PlayStation3 e 37.782 copie per la versione Xbox360. Di seguito il comunicato ufficiale:
Feb 23, 2009, 16:23, Tokyo–Capcom’s revival of the Street Fighter franchise appears to be having success on a worldwide scale. The company announced today that Street Fighter IV has crossed the two million mark in worldwide shipments. The game was released to Japan on February 12, with international releases following shortly.
The company did not share specific platform or regional splits for its shipment numbers. Domestically, sales tracker Media Create reported last week first week sales of 86,075 units for the PS3 version and 37,782 units for the 360 version.
